THE BOY WITH THE HIDDEN CHAINS

SCENE 1

Visuals:

Warm African village. Golden sunset. Children playing. Wole sits apart, smiling faintly but clutching his chest. Subtle transparent chains shimmer around him (visible only to audience).

Camera:

Slow push-in close-up on Wole’s eyes.

Background Music:

Soft piano with distant echoing strings (melancholic but gentle).

Voiceover (Narrator):

In a small village full of laughter lived a boy named Wole.

Everyone saw his smile…

But no one saw the chains around his heart.

SFX:

Faint whispering voices (the Accusers).

Shadow Figures Appear (stylized smoky shapes):

You were born to die…”

“You belong to us…”

Wole shivers.

SCENE 2

“THE MOBILE GOSPEL MINISTRY”

Visuals:

Brightly painted gospel van enters village with joyful music. Children run behind it. Bold colors contrast previous gloom.

Music Shift:

Uplifting African rhythm with light percussion and acoustic guitar.

A woman steps down smiling, holding a small wireless speaker, ministrying beside Wole.

Gospel Audio (from speaker):

“No matter how dark it feels, there is hope…”

The name Jesus Christ is spoken clearly from the message.

Voiceover:

That day, hope arrived on wheels.

Wole listens, eyes wide.

SCENE 3

 “THE PRAYER”

Visuals:

Night. Candlelight flickers. Wole alone holding the device.

Music:

Soft ambient pads. Gentle heartbeat rhythm.

Wole (whispering):

Jesus… if You are real… please save me.

The chains begin to glow and crack.

Golden light slowly fills the room.

Gentle Voice (not visible):

You are Mine. Fear has no claim over you.

Chains shatter into dust.

Music swells with warm strings.

Wole sleeps peacefully.

SCENE 4

 “THE FINAL ATTACK”

Visuals:

Storm clouds gather unnaturally fast. Trees bend violently. Accusers grow larger and more defined.

Music:

Low drums. Rising tension strings.

Accusers (echoing):

Tonight he is ours!

Wole coughs, weak in bed. Wind slams windows.

 SCENE 5

 “THE WATERLOO”

Sudden Silence.

Then—

BOOM!

Massive thunder cracks the sky.

Lightning tears across clouds forming a brilliant cross shape for a split second (subtle but powerful).

Rain crashes down.

Music:

Full orchestral surge with choir (no lyrics, just powerful “Ahh”).

The Accusers scream as rain hits them like fire. They dissolve into mist.

Voiceover:

And on the day they came to devour him…

They met their Waterloo in a thunderstorm they could not command.

Inside, Wole whispers:

Thank You…

Golden light surrounds him.

SCENE 6

“THE MORNING AFTER”

Visuals:

Sunrise. Rain droplets on leaves. Birds sing.

Wole opens his eyes calmly.

His mother sits beside him.

Wole:

Why did they run?

Mother (smiling):

Because Light came first.

Soft embrace.

SCENE 7

 “A FREE HEART”

Visuals:

Weeks later. Wole slowly regains strength. He smiles brighter. Helps another sick child listen to the same gospel message.

The van drives away in sunset.

Music:

Hopeful theme returns — fuller, joyful orchestration.

Voiceover:

His body still fought battles…

But his soul was free.

And freedom is stronger than fear.

Final shot: Wind chimes ring as Wole laughs.

Fade to sky.

Short Altar Call Script

Beloved, if you are here tonight and your heart is heavy…
If you are tired of fighting battles alone…
If sin, fear, addiction, sickness, or guilt has whispered that you are too far gone—
Hear this clearly:
Jesus Christ is calling you.
Not to shame you.
Not to expose you.
But to save you.
The same Jesus who healed the broken Wole
Who forgave the sinner…
Who conquered death…
Is here now by His Spirit.
If you desire healing…
If you need deliverance…
If you want your sins forgiven and your life made new—
Pioneer of Mobile gospel ministry [Pastor Akinyemi S. Olatokunbo[ invites you to step forward, or lift your hand where you are.
This is not about religion.
It is about surrender.
It is about coming home.
Let us pray together:
Lord Jesus,

“I come to You just as I am.
I confess that I need You.
Forgive my sins.
Break every chain in my life.
Heal my heart.
Deliver me from darkness.
Be my Lord and my Savior.
I receive Your mercy.
I receive Your salvation.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
If you prayed that prayer with faith—even trembling faith—
He has heard you.
Welcome home.
