Theological solution to Nigerian challenges

  Nigeria’s challenges are corruption, insecurity, poverty, ethnic division, and moral declination. These are often treated as purely political or economic problems but, in theology, regarded as spiritual and moral issues, rooted in the human heart, a broken systems, and distorted values. Theological response doesn’t replace policy but, reshapes the foundation on which solutions are built. Let’s get into a grounded, practical theological framework. The Cross: Where Forgiveness Meets Terror

  Introduction In Nigeria, where terror has caused pain and fear, the cross of Jesus Christ shines with a different kind of power – the power of forgiveness. Today, we look at the cross, where forgiveness meets terror, and see God's call to repentance. The Terror of the Cross Jesus was crucified between two criminals, surrounded by hatred and violence (Matthew 27:38). This was a moment of extreme terror, much like the fear caused by terrorism in Nigeria. Forgiveness on the Cross Yet, in this moment, Jesus said, "Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing" (Luke 23:34). Even as nails pierced His hands, Jesus forgive.
