Rising Above Weakness Like King Nebuchadnezzar

  


Hey! As a Christian, tonight's cross over service promised to usher in the New year 2026. Accept my congratulatory message, “Happy New year” from the pioneer of Mobile gospel ministry (Pastor Akinyemi S. Olatokunbo). 

I am also imploring those spiritually awoken not to be carried away by its unnecessary excitement. For our Christian faith required us to be intentional, if we would rise above our weakness like this regenerated king of Babylon”. 

“Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase”. 

Daniel 4: 37

Human weakness could also be referred to as limitations, vulnerabilities, and imperfections e.t.c or classified as:

1. Emotional Weakness: Struggling with anxiety, fear, or anger.

2. Physical Weakness: Dealing with illness, disability, or fatigue.

3. Mental Weakness: Battling with doubts, confusion, or addiction.

4. Spiritual Weakness: Struggling with faith, obedience, or surrender

HOW TO OVERCOME HUMAN WEAKNESSES


To escape God's form of judgement on those persistently unfaithful (Ezekiel 14:12-16). Individuals must be teachable, irrespective of our personality, whether great or small. We ought to be open to godly wisdom, like him whose pride was humble. 

He eventually acknowledges his weakness and surrenders to God's sovereignty. Thereafter gathering courage to trust in God's strength.

As the name of this blog implies, “Obstacle on the path of spiritual awakening, the pioneer of Mobile gospel ministry want our followers to always reflect on God's glory without misinterpreting life challenges, for total destruction. Ddivine purpose of life challenges, is to draw victim towards God’s mercy and grace (John 3:16-17)

 In conclusion, rising above weakness required us to gathered as much as possible of godly knowledge like him  (Daniel 4)  

- Pride often led to a fall: Nebuchadnezzar's pride led to 7 years of living like wild animal (Daniel 4:30-33) .

- His humility later brought restoration: He humbled himself, and God restored his government. Since He reign in the affair of men (Daniel 4:34-37) .

- God's strength overcame his weakness: Nebuchadnezzar's weakness became an opportunity to manifest God's power (2 Corinthians 12:9). 

PRAYER POINTS

1. Lord renew my mind - "Lord, renew a right spirit within me (Psalm 51:10). Help me think like You."

2. Help me walk, in obedience to your purpose - "God, help me obey Your Word in 2026 (John 14:15). Give me grace to follow You."

3. Lord break spiritual chains, restricting my progress - "Father, break chains of sin and habits that brings me trouble (Isaiah 58:6). Set me free."

4. I declare fruitfulness, as my portion- "Lord, make me fruitful in every good work (Colossians 1:10). Use me for Your glory."

5. I received grace to be able to persevered"God, help me run the race with perseverance (Hebrews 12:1). To kept fccusing on Your strength ."

6. Graceously make me a positive Influencer - "Lord, make me a light in year 2026 (Matthew 5:16). Let people see You through me."

7. Heal my physical and spiritual wounds (Restoration) - "God, bring healing and restoration where are needed in my life (Psalm 103:2-3)."

This should be basis for your new year resolution.

HOW NOT TO MISS RAPTURE

Our focus in this flight manual, as rapture is drawing nearer. We pray that Almighty God would grant us enough strength and wisdom for proper heavenly boarding.  So as not to miss the redemptive flight of Christ to peaceful heaven. “For our citizenship is in heaven, as we eagerly await Christ's return.
