Finding Strength in Suffering for Christ

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus,

This  epistle is to console Christian's suffering for Christ's sake (I.e Encountering trials and persecution, in the course of evangelical activity. Across the globe, on this blog titled obstacle on the path of spiritual awakening by Mobile gospel ministry.

The pioneer of Mobile gospel ministry [Pastor Akinyemi S. Olatokunbo] here to admonish you from our holy scripture.  That trial is also a test of faith that could produce endurance (I.e spiritual stamina, during rough times. As it is written in the book of James 1:2-3 (AMP)

“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.”

The book of James calling us to a higher perspective, “to count it all joy”:

This is not because suffering makes us feel good but builds our spiritual stamina (strength and character) or refine our fire to walk with Christ.

In conclusion, your suffering is not a waste also [1 Peter 4:15 -16 (AMP)]

_"Make sure that none of you suffers as a murderer, or a thief, or a criminal [because of wrongdoing], or as a [unwarranted] interferer in another’s business."_

Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

Another thing to note is that, “your joy is a choice” rooted in trusting that God’s plan is bigger than your pain. To convince you that our earthly trials are temporary, endurance they produce would carry us into deeper faith and greater impact for God’s Kingdom.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to see my trials through Your eyes. Teach me to rejoice, not in the pain, but in the growth and endurance You are producing in me. Strengthen my heart to stand firm, and let my life bring glory to You, even in suffering. Amen.
